Lensant
Web & media monitoring tailored for startups and SMBs
Well, 300% probably makes it sound more exciting than it is. Today, Lensant had about 15 new sign ups, one of which tried to convert into a paid customer!
I say tried to convert because, well, turns out my billing system—naturally—was broken. Fortunately I saw the error, fixed it, and reached out to the affected customer. (I think they're an IndieHacker...so if you're seeing this, hi!)
Anyway, certainly an exciting day. Sign ups are up, people are setting up triggers, and I'm seeing a path to profitability.
Today, I opened Lensant signups publicly. (Previously, I was in "invite only" mode.) While I'm not going to do a single "big launch," it felt great to have a product that someone could just sign up for right now if they wanted to.
I also created a profile for Lensant on IndieHackers. I've been following what folks have been making on here for awhile, but didn't feel like I was ready to "make things official" and create a product. But here I am!

I needed a way to track when my projects were mentioned online — whether that was in the news, on HackerNews, or on a random blog. Google Alerts sucks & other media monitoring tools are way too expensive. Enter Lensant.
