LibrePress

Most newsletter platforms today focus not only on distribution, but also on becoming yet another social network. They add abilities like comments and likes, so that users will stay on their platforms.

I really dislike it. I wanted to have a service that only distributes newsletters, and preferably uses existing infrastructure like RSS and Markdown.

This is why I created LibrePress, a newsletter distribution platform that cares about two things: (1) distribution only, and (2) relying on existing standards.

It's a work in progress, and I'm getting ready to private alpha.
