License Bridge

After three years of working on the License Bridge launch day is here and we are ready for customers.

I emailed my small newsletter list and just tweeted about our launch.

In the next days and weeks, we will add more features:

• support for selling WordPress themes
• support for selling digital products
  and more.

In the next period, focus will be more on marketing and acquiring customers. The real challenges are in front of me.

Finally, wrote a documentation for License Bridge. While working from 9 to 5 job, working from home with a baby with own needs, word hustling gets a meaning.

But I achieved the goal. Documentation that can help future customers to quickly jump into the WordPress business and sell themes and plugins.

Writing a documentation helped me to put the customer’s hat on my head, and improve usability of the app. Now, I am one step closer to the application launching.

Just finished working on a SDK for WordPress plugins. This SDK library will help developers to protect plugins with license by connecting to License Bridge API.

Also, it will generate the plugin landing page with integrated secured payment. The administration for the landing page is inside the License Bridge application. Users can pick PayPal or Stripe payment processors and add a product description.

I wanted to build a WordPress plugin, and while brainstorming about WordPress plugin, a realized that for launching a premium WordPress plugin I need a service and system to protect my plugin with license, and send the latest updates via WordPress to licensed users.

So License Bridge idea was born!
