April 25, 2021 Hired the UX team for the landing page

We got to a stage where we are getting ready to launch and needed a landing page for the BETA version.

We are excited to see this finally taking off and will be using the landing place solely as a place to share our privacy policy, terms of service and as a pointer to the stores.

March 1, 2021 Pandemic + more time

With the COVID-19 pandemic set and everyone working from home, we decided to re-ignite this project. This time around, it would be a solo exercise with the support of a different UX team.

The tech stack was chosen (Firebase, Algolia, React-Native, Google Functions) and we got our hands dirty with the development.

October 25, 2017 First prototype and first pause

The first prototype came out but the quality was really far behind what we wanted for the app.

We decided to put the project on pause while trying to find another team setup.

The initial team was half based in the US, half in India, and this did not facilitate the development.

May 1, 2017 Hired the initial dev/ux team

After some research, we hired a team of UX designers to help us to take the idea off the ground.

During this period, the two co-founders understood they had different ideas for the application and decided to split early on (fail fast).

With the initial setup in our hands, we dove into coding.

March 25, 2017 Idea!

Back in March 2017, while coming back from lunch with a friend we discussed "Wouldn't it be cool to have a way to anchor a moment in time?"

To say 'here is my message to you, my future you, remember when you see this" and along with this message we could add to its "payload" all the context of that day…. newspapers headlines, weather, and more…..

Add to it the location of this memory and we were both caught up on this idea of creating a 4th dimension where we could have a layer on top of our world to leave memories, experiences that people would HAVE to be at the same place to consume their content.

We have been doing this for ages…. drawing in trees, caves, love padlocks, there is something intrinsic to ourselves about leaving a mark in the world and this app would aim to do just that.
