Lifelong Learning

Launched a very rough version of the future website to test the market. It has only the bare essentials and does not yet support payments. It will allow authors/tutors that I know, and give login information to, to post worksheets for others to download. It also has a blog which I will be posting relevant stuff about learning to help drive traffic to the website.

I hope this early website will generate interest in the future product, while I am building the first complete version of the website.

It will also serve as a guidance to whether or not I am heading down the right path.

As it became clear that I probably was not going to have a job after graduation I decided that I better start working on something that could make money eventually. That is how I decided to look into private tutoring. Some people suggested that creating and posting learning material would be a good way to advertise my tutoring services.
As I thought about posting learning resources it occurred to me that some people not currently in school may also want to learn about topics like physics and math. To engage the general public different resources would be needed so I decided that worksheets covering everyday applications might be of interest.
Eventually I picture Lifelong Learning will be a host of tutors/authors selling worksheets covering cool applications of physics, math, economics and other topics to interested learners. Lifelong Learning will probably take a small cut to make money, but that has not yet been decided.
