Product Designers
Share your case studies, find inspiration, get hired
As milestones go, I'll admit this isn't a huge one. But I'm glad that product designers are seeing the benefit in a network that showcases the deep-thinking involved in their product design work, including interactive prototypes.
Are you a product designer? Give it a go!

Last week, Dribbble announced updates to their pricing that make it even more expensive for designers to promote their work. Even worse, Dribbble has never been a good format for understanding product design decisions.
So, it's the right time to launch case studies on ProductDesigners! Are you a designer? Post your case studies to gain a following and bookmark the ones you love.

Now, product designers can find articles, books, and podcasts that will help them grow before they start completing design exercises they can use to apply for jobs.
I started by focusing on the design exercise experience, but that's a big investment for a designer that may be starting from zero. That's why I want to build a more supportive network for designers where they can grow regardless of whether or not they're applying for a product design job (which is also available now).
Check it out! Feedback welcome 😉

ProductDesigners.app is live! Designers can start completing design exercises that real companies use when hiring. Once they publish their exercise, they can get a free review from an expert product designer that will help them land jobs in the future.
Design exercises are a staple of the hiring process, but they are laden with ethical issues. I've thought a lot about how to reduce bias while giving businesses the valuable output of design exercises.
We'll certainly add more features to help product designers grow, but this is a good first step.
Would love your feedback!

I initially debated whether I wanted to build a broad market for hiring (with a different perspective) or a narrow market. As everyone says, I need to find passionate users in a core group first.
Thankfully, I decided to combine my passions by focusing on educating product designers towards ethical design practices. I'm deciding to build a community and jobs will only be one aspect of that.

Dribbble and Behance simply can't capture the story of how products were designed. Product designers need their own community where they can share case studies and be inspired by others.
