For a long time I've been tracking my investments with different tools and spreadsheets.

They are very good at showing the current portfolio value, asset allocation, and historical performance.

But I realized something important was missing.

Most tools do not really answer the bigger question: where is this portfolio actually going?

When you invest every month, what you really want to understand is the long-term impact of consistency and compound growth.

So I started building a projection engine that simulates the future value of a portfolio based on:

- monthly contributions

- expected annual return

- time horizon

For example:

$1000 per month

7% annual return

30 years

This scenario grows to roughly $1.2M.

Seeing the curve makes the power of compounding much clearer than just looking at today's balance.

What started as a personal tool is now becoming Likafi, a platform designed to give investors a simple way to visualize where their portfolio could be in 10, 20, or 30 years.

I'm planning to launch in March and I'm currently sharing the project to get feedback from other builders and investors.
