Social preview images for any link
Today I set up a Cloudflare Worker that generates social preview images from a simple URL parameter.
The idea: you type a title, you get an image. No Satori, no WASM, no headless browser. Pure SVG strings. Zero dependencies. Fast, free, simple.
Stack so far:
- Cloudflare Workers (free tier, 100k req/day)
- SVG template generation
- No npm packages for image rendering
Live test: [TON-URL-WORKER]/?title=Hello%20World
Goal: launch a paid SaaS under $10/month with built-in share analytics (how many times your image was loaded by Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord).
Follow the build here. Honest updates, no hype.
About
I can code, but I have zero audience, zero budget, and no portfolio. I need a first SaaS that generates real MRR — even small. OG image generation is a proven pain point, the existing tools are too expensive or too compl

The thing I'd be careful with is that generating OG images and getting analytics are both understandable features.
The harder question is what specific moment makes someone decide their current workflow is no longer acceptable.
That decision probably matters more than the rendering stack or the sub-$10 price point.
I'd be cautious about treating this as a pricing problem before you're sure you've identified the buying moment.
Good point. I've been focused on the stack and pricing, but the real trigger is the embarrassment of sharing a link with no preview. Reframing the landing page around that today. Appreciate the nudge.
Maybe.
I'd be careful treating that as the answer too quickly.
The useful part isn't identifying a plausible buying moment. It's deciding whether that's the one the product should actually be built and sold around.
That's not a call I'd make casually in a thread.
If you'd like the tighter version, drop your email and I'll send it over properly.
Fair. I'm still early and don't want to lock into the wrong trigger. Would appreciate the tighter version, a dot koumad dot pro @ gmail dot com (the platform didn't let me the share links )
Sent you a note by email. I think validating the buying moment matters more than optimizing the pricing right now.
Thanks a lot
