April 10, 2020 Released Public Beta

After over 2 months of working on Linkup, from branding to prototyping and coding, I have finally released the beta version of the web-app.

In my time working on this project so far I have learnt a whole lot than I expected. One is how important it is to consider data structure way ahead of starting to build anything online. Another one is the importance of reusable code.

I'm looking forward to learning how users interact Linkup.

Yes, for now! But I do have a plan to create a more responsive layout before launching.

February 1, 2020 Started Linkup

I was working on my portfolio website when I stumbled on an Instagram profile that featured a link-sharing platform in the bio. I said to myself that would be a nice project to add to my portfolio, but then it hit me, lots of these services seem to be used by "Influencers" and "entrepreneurs" only, so I started thinking about how I can change that, create one that's for everyone.

So I set out to build Linkup. Using the technologies I already knew and learning new ones as I go.
