Lipikit Trips
Your all-in-one travel companion
Last October, I launched Trips as part of SparkyMinis to solve a specific problem: managing travel itineraries, AI-powered checklists, and travel-related expenses in a structured way.
While building and using Trips, it became clear that travel was only one part of a larger operational workflow.
Trips was closely connected to Travel related contacts, documents, and finances — and managing these across separate tools created fragmentation.
Over the past few months, I expanded that foundation into SparkyMinis — a unified platform that includes everything Trips could do, along with broader capabilities for managing projects, relationships, finances, and operational context.
As a result, all active development is now focused on SparkyMinis.
Trips remains available for existing users, but SparkyMinis is now the primary platform going forward.
Trips was an important starting point, and it directly shaped what SparkyMinis has become.
If you’re interested in where this has evolved, you can explore SparkyMinis here: https://SparkyMinis.com
Happy to answer any questions about the transition or the platform.
About
I was doing a lot of travelling - for business and for fun. I needed way to optimize my expense tracking, so came in Trips app - which has now been turned into full SparkyMinis platform. But this was the start.

Nice evolution. Expanding from a focused travel tool into a broader operational system makes sense if users were already managing contacts, documents, and finances alongside trips.
From a security and data perspective, a few questions come to mind:
• During the transition from Trips to SparkyMinis, how are you handling data migration and access boundaries? Are users’ trip data, contacts, and financial records strictly isolated per account at the database level?
• If AI is involved in checklists or analysis, are user documents or financial data ever sent to external models, and if so, how is that scoped and protected?
When a tool expands from single-purpose to unified workspace, the trust surface grows quickly. Clear data boundaries and retention policies can become a strong differentiator.
