This day marks the official beginning of our adventure. We launched again in Product Hunt, but this time with an updated website with a stronger value proposition that we've been polishing during the beta phase. We also included tons of updates and fixes to the product. We got the 3rd product of the day.
In barely 1 month we reached 2K signups for the private beta, it was a bit overwhelming but this demonstrated that Listy had a chance to success. People at least was interested in our problem space and the way we approached our solution to it.
So in the following weeks we started dispatching gradually the Beta releases to everyone who signed up.
Once we got an MVP already tested with some close friends, we decided to give it a try with more people and launched a private beta registration together with our website publicly.
This was the first time we were telling the world about the project, and the way people reacted was overwhelming. We become 2nd product of the day:
We created a one pager in Notion and shared it with some close friends to know if this was somehow interesting. The initial goal was simple, just to validate the idea was worth to start working on it and get some help from friends to bootstrap it. Spoiler, it worked quite well.
