Build better with LLM

July 16, 2025 Making LLM access simpler and cheaper. Thoughts?

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I’ve been quietly building something I wished existed: a way to use top LLMs (like GPT, Claude, Mistral) through a single API key — no juggling credentials, no multiple dashboards, and much cheaper than the official prices (well yeah, my budgets' are tight, and I often find myself having to compromise quality for affordability).

The idea:

A unified API platform that gives developers access to the best LLMs — with:

  • Built-in retries, caching, and fallback handling

  • Quota-based pricing (buy token packs, use them flexibly)

  • Transparent usage tracking

  • And most importantly: lower prices without cutting corners

You get models like Claude Opus 4 for a fraction of the cost — no tradeoffs on quality.

Why I’m building it:

A lot of devs either:

  • Overpay for LLM access (especially Claude — IMO GPT can’t match it for coding or nuanced tasks)

  • Or spend hours wiring together fallback logic, usage tracking, and multiple SDKs

For indie hackers and small teams, that’s a huge time sink. Why not just:

sign up → get API key → plug it in → you're good to go

What’s working so far:

  • Single API key access to multiple LLMs

  • Quota-based pricing (you can buy tokens in packs, then use them whenever and however you want, with no expiry or obligation)

  • Transparent usage tracking (see how much input / output tokens was used for models in a time period)

  • Lower cost than going direct — without cutting corners (YES! We all love to save some money, right?)

  • Built-in handling for retries, caching, and outages

What’s next:

  • Integration guides for LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.

  • Usage with common SDKs, so you can use it in your existing apps with minimal code change!

  • Planning for launch on BetaList and Product Hunt soon! Appreciate all help and tips on doing this (TBH, this is my first time launching on Product Hunt 😃)

Try it out:

Discord community (I'd love to build a community where devs can share about building with LLMs): https://discord.gg/sfRdZ9EAfg

Email: contact@liteflow.cloud

Currently, chat completion is working pretty good, and you can already build really cool stuff with that.

And, feel free to drop me an email if you want free token quota for Claude, Mistral or Gemini models. Also, tell me which model you want to use, or I'll have to choose random 😉

I’d love to hear your thoughts:

  • What would you expect from something like this?

  • What’s missing?

  • If you’ve built LLM apps, what was most painful?

Thanks for reading, and excited to hear what you think!
