• I have already published almost 140 contents in Little Big Artists (70 in each language).
• The site continues to receive very good feedback from those who visit it. I am really happy with the worksheets and I really enjoy creating them.
• I have deleted the Instagram profile from the website which was not contributing anything and it was a waste of time. I will probably do the same with Twitter to focus only on Pinterest.
• Around 1000 visits per day.

Why? Because I expect LittleBigArtists to grow slowly over the next 2 years. For that to happen, I have to focus mostly on creating content.

Using Google Analytics (or GA4) in a small website is like killing flies with cannons:

• It affects load times.
• You have to deal with cookies and permissions.
• You waste time looking at vanity metrics.

Right now I just need to know:

1. If someone visits the site.
2. What keywords they are coming for.

And for that I just need the basic Cloudflare analytics and the information that Google Search Console gives me. More than enough.

There is no need for over-engineering to get started. Focus on the minimum that works for you.

I consider it a good start, let's see if some of them become regular users. Although I'm really aiming for organic traffic by positioning.
The feedback received through social networks has been very good, and that's always a boost.
Tomorrow the website will be launched in ProductHunt, let's see if it brings some extra feedback and traffic, although I don't expect much because I haven't invested time in working on it.
Over the next few months, the focus will be 100% on continuing to create content.

This is the list of tasks I intend to complete before launching the website:

• Include a link to LittleBigArtists.com on my other five websites.
• Publish the website case study to IndieHackers, ProductHunt, and Behance. I don't expect a lot of traffic, but every visit is appreciated, and the links will help with SEO.
• On the 30th, notify my friends, family, and colleagues via social media, WhatsApp groups, and so on.

Nothing that requires investment; I'm willing to start small and see how it grows over the next two years.

I'm not going to put any ads up until I have a reasonable amount of traffic. This way, I'm not sacrificing loading time or user experience to earn a few dollars. It isn't worth it.

• 25 worksheets available in 2 languages
• A free printable activity book for Christmas
• 2 blog articles about children's creativity
• Everything in two languages: english and spanish

So the website is ready to go live. I intend to make it public on November 30th.

I'd like to have the website ready to go by the beginning of December, along with some worksheets for the kids to use during their Christmas vacations. So I need to be quick to get everything ready; the website isn't a problem because I have a lot of experience with Wordpress, but I need to figure out a way to make the printable worksheets that is both practical and 100% useful for parents and teachers.

I've been thinking about making this website for several years, so I have plenty of ideas for worksheets.

My first thought is to use:

• Wordpress (with WPRocket, Perfmatters and Cloudflare to achieve a decent loading time)
• Adobe Illustrator to draw the worksheets
• PDF as the worksheet format to download from the website

But first I have to create a fun, eye-catching brand. Since I'm a designer this is one of the parts I enjoy the most.

I am Jimena, mother of two little BIG artists and a designer. In my profession I have to strive to be creative every day and have always been fascinated by how children apply creativity effortlessly in all aspects of their lives.

I often look for simple materials on the internet so that my kids can entertain themselves at home with just a sheet of paper and a pencil. But I have always found a lot of worksheets and few creative activities. There is nothing wrong with learning letters, numbers, languages… but I think we don’t leave enough room to train creativity.

Divergent thinking, decision making, problem solving, self-confidence and many others are skills related to creative thinking that our children will need in the future. That’s why I created Little Big Artists, with simple worksheets to use at home or in the classroom to boost children’s creativity.
