Litur
A color picker app for the world around you.
Might not be a big deal to a lot of people but I consider this a good milestone because if someone is willing to pay out a lump sum of money to buy the app, must be doing something good right?
Did decline the offer but it opened my mind to the many possibilities and direction in which I could take Litur forward.
Learning growth and how to bring users to your products is still all new to me so this is a big milestone, considering I have done no ads and used just PH, Reddit, and HackerNews.
Product Hunt brought the highest number of paid users, then followed by Reddit. Analytics were tracked using Google Analytics and AppStore Connect Stats

Launched on ProductHunt and ended up as the 4th product of the day. This resulted in more than 350 page views on the website and about an increase in 20 paying customers too.
From the comments, happy to see that it was something a lot of people wanted and were willing to pay for

After about 4 months of coding and trying to get the color picking algorithm right, I finally launched Litur to the AppStore.
In that time, I learned how to make a promo video, app store assets to improve the findability of your app and also how to schedule launches well after the Apple review team where done

A lot of times I saw color combinations and I wanted to able to capture those colors or save them. For example, I could see a car with a very gorgeous shade of red and would love to use that same shade in my projects.

How big was the offer and why did you decline it?
Initial offer was $15k. We couldn't agree best on the future of Litur. They wanted to buy it as a feature into an already existing app I guess
Congrats, and I agree that Litur looks like a cool app :)
Thank you!
Congratulations 🎉 This must be a very satisfying milestone. It's awesome.
Keep on doing that great work!
