LLM Scan
LLM Scan helps understand how readable a website is to AI
Built a small tool recently that audits how readable and understandable your website is for AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
Turns out a lot of startups have great products, decent SEO, and clean design… but AI still struggles to understand what they actually do.
The audit checks things like:
AI crawlability
positioning clarity
structured content
trust/entity signals
how easily agents can extract and cite your product correctly
Drop me your site below and I’ll run an AI readiness audit on it 👇
A few weeks ago I asked ChatGPT to describe a SaaS tool I know well. It got the positioning half-right, listed a feature the product dropped a year ago, and completely missed the main use case.
That product has a nice website. Good design, clear copy, decent SEO. But the information was structured in a way that made it hard for an AI to pull out the key facts cleanly.
This is increasingly a real problem.
When someone asks Perplexity "what's the best tool for X" or asks Claude to compare options before buying, your website isn't just being read by humans and Google anymore. It's being interpreted by systems that need to extract what you do, who you serve, and whether you're worth mentioning, from whatever public information they can find.
If that information is vague, inconsistent, or buried, the summary they produce reflects that.
For a human visitor, vague copy is annoying. For an AI assistant, it often means a weak description, a wrong detail, or no mention at all.
I've been building LLM Scan around this. You paste in a URL and get a plain-English report on how readable your site is for AI systems. Not "here's how to rank in ChatGPT" (nobody can promise that honestly). More like: here's what's unclear, here's what's missing, here's what a machine would struggle to understand about your business.
The fixes are usually not complicated. Explicit use cases on the homepage. Consistent product naming. Pricing and docs that are actually findable. Clear headings instead of clever-but-vague marketing copy.
Basic stuff. But easy to skip when you're moving fast.
Most founders haven't tried asking ChatGPT or Perplexity to describe their own product yet. Worth doing before someone else's inaccurate summary becomes the default answer.

LLM Scan exists because people are starting to discover products through AI assistants, not just search engines. I’m building it to help founders see whether their website is clear, readable and easy for AI to understand
