May 20, 2025 Turning My Distractions Into Discipline — Introducing Locked-In

Over the past few years, I’ve struggled with something simple but persistent:

I want to work out.

I want to build better habits.

But I end up scrolling instead.

And I know I’m not alone.

That gap between intention and action—especially when your phone is full of distractions—kills momentum. I’ve tried fitness trackers, habit apps, and daily planners. They all helped… until they didn’t.

So I’m building something different. It’s called Locked-In.

It’s an app that blocks your favorite apps—or eventually, even physical items—until you complete your workout goal.

Walk 5,000 steps? You get your phone back.

Crush 20 minutes of cardio? Scroll away.

Skip your workout? You stay locked in.

It’s not a reminder. It’s a system of accountability you can’t swipe past.

Right now, I’m validating the idea and building a waitlist. If this speaks to you—or someone you know—I’d love your feedback, support, or even just a like to help get it in front of the right people.

Let’s turn distraction into motivation.

About

I’m creating Locked-In because I’ve struggled—just like so many others—with following through on the habits I know I need. I’ve told myself I’d work out, get outside, or stay focused, but too often I’d reach for my phone
