LOCOS! Party Game
THE BEST PARTY GAME EVER!
My game originally meant to be a drinking game, but during the development in 2020 October, Apple changed their guidelines and they did not accept drinking games anymore to the Appstore, saying that it's dangerous, causing physical harm to their users, by making them drink too much.
Nevertheless to say, that it's complete bullsh*t, anyhow, I only managed to get my app accepted to the Appstore if we made some... on some I mean A LOT of changes to the app. So at the moment the iOS version is quite lame, while the Android version kicks ass!
One year after that I started to work on this project, I had the final prodct in my hand, with much more fatures than originally planned, much better UI and everything is polished...
The only problem is that COVID-19 is still here, and even if we are allowed (at that moment) to meet in small groups, people are not that open to these close interactions. Playing a drinkig game in face masks is obviously not possible.

My game ment to be a social game. The whole concept of the game was to bring people together, to use only 1 single phone to play, so people can interact with each other instead of staring at screens. And BOOOM! COVID-19 came, everything locked down, quarantine, whatever...
At the time no one knew how long this shitshow will last, so I kept on going with the development without being able to test anything since there was no one around able to come over and try the MPV.
It was a brave (and not necessarily good) move to go forward...

Until this point pretty much everything was on paper, but I hired a UI designer to convert my freehand sketches to digital format. Basically I got a bunch of screens on figma. New it started to look like something and I was able to hire a developer to start working on the app.

I started working on LOCOS! (at this time it didn't even have a name) by making some freehand sketches of the UI and the characters. With no experience of UX/UI and even less experience in coding, it was a kind brave move, but hey... there is a first time in everything for everyone.
