Make marketing understandable and measurable
New web site at https://logary.tech, with the new branding has been released! Thanks to @robert for the awesome new Logo and favicon.
Some technical highlights:
- Written with Next.js and React,
- Served by an Express web server
- Uses inline SVGs for most images and Font Awesome for the icons,
- Stripe Billing integration with card-tokens on the "pricing" page,
- Hosted on k8s with Cloudflare in front, with a Let's Encrypt certificate
- The search box is fully client-side only with Lunr and React-Lunr. The search index is updated in git only and compiled into the site with the help of htmlparser2 running axios-requests against localhost and the building the document-file.
- Fully responsive site
TBD:
- Some of the tutorials and the 'how' section needs doing
What do you guys think?
#landing-page-feedback
I just finished a simple payment calculator to make license costs for Logary Analytics completely transparent to people like yourself, looking to understand the offering.
I'd love to get some feedback on what you think! The page features a Stripe together with an interactive calculator. It's not live at the time of writing, and won't charge your card, but you can test with the 4242 4242 4242 4242-card if you want.

Finally we have a domain name of our own, where we're going to publish news, releases and documentation for Logary. Right now it's a very simple next.js text-only site.

#looking-for-cofounder
I'm a software engineer and I'm readying Logary v5 for general release. The last year I've rebuilt most of the internals and tested it heavily. Now it's all coming together very well.
Now I'm looking for a partner to help me sell and market Logary!
Logary solves the metrics, monitoring and tracing problems your JS-app or .Net Core backend has. It has a multitude of targets — commercial and OSS — and an event-processing engine built into the main library.
I want to make observability and monitoring really simple for companies with sprawling software.
If you have suggestions on how to turn this around from a simple OSS lib to something that pays, I'd love your input.

Today I've been busy writing the final version of v5 of Logary.
This version will be commercial. The old version was non-commercial and fully open source. But free-for-all doesn't scale, and I want to create something really awesome, while still having money to live.
Soon, the Helm chart for Logary Rutta will be complete, and I'll submit a PR to the Helm repo for it to incubate.
Then it's time to release v5 to the world's developers!

Thanks to Jun (@lust4life) we now have priliminary Jaeger support in Logary.
The JS and .Net worlds have consistently been under-represented in the world of distributed system tracing. With Logary we can now start shipping Span values from JS and trace them together with the user interactions and backends and databases.
