October 2021 MVP launched ๐Ÿš€

The MVP was done, so that was the time to build a landing page. I grabbed some free nice looking template. Added some gibberish and launched.

The thing I learned is that you need to describe really well what your product does. Otherwise ppl won't try it if they don't know what it does - and that's what I was missing.

It got some traction, but no one signed up due to the missing feature description.

Remember about the marketing and build your audience before you launch ๐Ÿ™ƒ

October 23, 2021 Finished the MVP ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I was working on Logspot for almost two months. Mostly in the evenings, because I'm an indie dad ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ง.

I've even did a pivot before launch! My first idea was that I'll build an app that will replace Slack notifications, but after one week, I've said to myself that no one is going to pay for this since they have Slack and they can use it for free ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

So I've pivoted to a tool which also gives you insights about your product and allows you to automate your workflows, not only with a Slack message!

So that's how I build three first version of Logspot.

About

Everytime I was starting something new I was logging important events on Slack. I thought that I can do something better than that. That's how I started Logspot.
