Longwave

We launched on Hackers News today.

So far, after about 30 minutes, the link got totally buried. We'll see if anyone eventually finds it and checks it out.

I'm still not sure what the best phrasing of this service is: "journaling", "social media", "writing together". It's hard to know how to describe it.

Our launch goal is to get 10 signups on this first day.

We wrote a manifesto for our product, the thesis statement behind Longwave's value.

We hope people who are skeptical about trying out another type of social media will read the manifesto and consider trying Longwave.

We also will use it as a guide going forward, when trying to determine which features to implement.
