We launched a product on TikTok and two of our videos got over 300k views and 1k+ comments. It was exciting, but honestly…overwhelming.
We were working with a social media marketing agency, but their focus was mainly on likes and views. As a developer, what I cared about was what people were saying regarding their experience with the product, the negatives, the questions, the feedback. That’s where the real value was.
But I didn’t have time to read through thousands of comments. So I built Loplyy, a tool that helped me and my co-founder go through all the comments, filter out the noise, and focus on what really mattered.
I realised everyone is talking about “building in public,” but sometimes it feels like we’re not really paying attention to the public part. Loplyy helped us do that better.
