April 1, 2025 LoreBuilder — A CMS for worldbuilders, writers, and TTRPG creators

LoreBuilder is a creative content management system built specifically for people who build fictional worlds — authors, dungeon masters, game designers, and lore nerds like me.

Unlike general-purpose tools like Notion or Docs, LoreBuilder treats characters, locations, timelines, and more as first-class citizens. You can link them together, visualize relationships, and organize your imagination without friction.

Who’s behind this?

Hey! I’m Thomas 👋
I’m a developer, maker, and lifelong worldbuilder. I’ve written stories, built games, run D&D campaigns — and every time, I struggled to keep my lore straight.

So I built the tool I wish I’d always had — and now I’m sharing it with others who build worlds too.

Features

  • Create entries for characters, places, factions, events, etc.

  • Link elements together to map relationships

  • Build multiple worlds and keep them separate

  • Designed for fantasy, sci-fi, and everything in between

Responsive PWA — works on mobile, desktop, and offline

Target users

  • Authors (especially fantasy & sci-fi)

  • TTRPG game masters (D&D, Pathfinder, etc.)

  • Indie devs building narrative games

  • Lore-obsessed creatives who want better tools

My current goals

  • Get feedback from fellow indie hackers & creators

  • Grow early users and improve the onboarding flow
