LoricaPrompt

I’ve been building LoricaPrompt, a Chrome extension designed to help prevent sensitive information from accidentally leaving your browser.

The idea came from a simple problem: we paste and upload things into websites constantly.

An API key while debugging.
Customer information in a support ticket.
Credentials inside a log.
Personal information in a document.

And with AI tools becoming part of everyday workflows, it’s even easier to copy something without realizing what’s included.

I wanted to build a simple safety layer that checks the data before it leaves the browser.

LoricaPrompt can detect sensitive information when you paste or upload content. It isn't limited to AI tools — the goal is to make it useful across websites and web applications. You can also extend the protection with custom websites and detection patterns.

One of the things I care about most is privacy. The detection is designed to happen locally in the browser, so sensitive content doesn't need to be sent to a server just to be checked.

This is still early, and I'm trying to learn from real users.
