A personal flight log for paraglider pilots

April 21, 2019 The idea

We paraglider pilots record our flights (gps, altitude, etc.) with flight computers that we strap to our legs or cockpits during flight. Afterwards, we can review the flight on their little displays or export a standardized IGC file. IGC viewers exist, programs to review flights in more detail, and flight logs to keep all flights in one place. They focus on single flights, neglect overall statistics and most look terribly outdated, technical and their statistics are hard to grasp for the average pilot.

I saw an opportunity for (and built) a modern flight log that focuses on insights boyond the single flight, on usability and design, that would please the average pilot by being easy to use and intuitive.
