July 20, 2026 Building Lumina Audio: A fast, browser-based tool for viral audio edits 🎵

Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I'm working on Lumina Audio, a web-based toolkit designed to give creators, video editors, and music enthusiasts a fast, frictionless way to transform audio—specifically focusing on popular styles like slowed+reverb, nighcore, bass booster, edits—without needing heavy desktop software.

Why I started it: I noticed that finding a clean, reliable, and quick tool for these kinds of creative audio edits often meant dealing with clunky desktop software or ad-heavy websites. I wanted to build something streamlined, modern, and lightning-fast right in the browser using Next.js and TypeScript.

Current Status:

  • Built the core app experience and optimized the workflow.

  • Just got listed and approved on directories like SaaSHub to start building organic reach.

I’d love to connect with other indie makers here. If you've launched tools in the creator economy space, what was your go-to channel for your very first users?

Check it out here: luminaaudio.com — any feedback or thoughts are welcome!

I like that you're optimizing for speed and simplicity instead of trying to become a full digital audio workstation in the browser.

I'll be interested to see which transformation users keep coming back for most. That usually reveals what the product is actually becoming rather than what it initially set out to be.
