Lumivids
Stop juggling AI tools. Just generate.
I'll keep this short.
A while back, I wanted to generate AI videos for some content I was making.
Simple enough, right?
Wrong.
I spent hours figuring out which model was best for what, managing API keys,
switching between tools for video, images, animation — each with its own
pricing, UI, and quirks. I just wanted to go from idea to video without
the overhead.
So I built [Lumivids](https://lumivids.com).
## What it does
Four workflows, one platform:
- Text to Video — describe a scene, get a video
- Image to Video — animate any still image
- Text to Image — generate visuals from a prompt
- Image to Image — transform or restyle existing images
All powered by models I already trusted: Kling, Wan, Flux, and
others. You pick the workflow, set your duration and aspect ratio, and
generate. Everything saves to your history gallery so nothing gets lost.
No API keys. No juggling tabs. Just generate and download.
## What I learned building it
Picking models is half the product.
The generation quality lives and dies by which model you're running under
the hood. I spent more time evaluating and integrating models than I did
building the UI. Worth it.
Multilingual from day one was the right call.
I'm based in Brazil. A huge chunk of the audience for a tool like this
speaks Portuguese or Spanish. Supporting English, Portuguese, and Spanish
at launch opened up conversations I wouldn't have had otherwise.
People don't want options, they want results.
Every time I added a setting, I had to ask: does this actually help the
user, or am I just giving them more ways to feel lost? I cut a lot.
## Where things are now
Lumivids is live at [lumivids.com](https://lumivids.com). Still early —
building in public, listening to feedback, iterating.
If you're a creator, marketer, or just someone who wants AI-generated video
without the complexity, I'd love for you to try it and tell me what's
missing.
## One question for the community
What's the one thing that's stopped you from using AI video tools so far —
price, quality, complexity, or something else entirely?
Would genuinely help me know where to focus next.
About
I got frustrated trying to create AI-generated videos for my own projects. Every workflow required a different tool, a different API key, and a different learning curve.
