Lyfpit
When Hootsuite meets Asana with a sweet pricing ;)
We decided to extend the free plan offered to all the startups and SMEs to help them overcome the covid crisis.
Communication is key for many small businesses and we wanted to help them boost their social media presence!
If you are in that category as for your free plan here: https://join.lyfpit.com
We didn't expect that during this period, but some users loved the product so much that they decided to upgrade to a higher plan even before the end of their one-year's gift!
This is very encouraging for the team and the new developments!
New features one the way!!!

We wanted to share access with our friends and therefore reworked the UX so it won't hurt anybody's eyes... and for the name it took us literally 5 minutes to find it.
What social media are we serving right now?
L = Linkedin
Y = Youtube
F = Facebook
P = Pinterest
I = Instagram
T = Twitter
Tried some combinations and lyfpit.com was available and cool

The initial version didn't have a name, nor a cute UX but it worked and was really efficient, we were so proud of this version that it became our N#1 discussion topic with friends, and every time we mentioned "our social media app" people asked, "whats the name?" ... so we had to come up with a name!

We decided to cancel our social media automation software as it was not fully meeting our expectations, tried some other but couldn't find THE one for us (with advanced team management, scaled capacity, automation... without selling your only child) ... so we decided to build it!

About
Lyfpit started as an internal tool we built it because we missed some features, we shared later access with some friends, we challenged ourselves to turn it into a SAAS if we reach 500 users, we have 870...
