I run a few print-on-demand shops and help other sellers with marketing. For years the same thing slowed me down: the design.

Ideas were never the problem. It was everything after. Paying a designer $20 to $50 a graphic, waiting days for edits, or burning an evening in Photoshop cutting out backgrounds and second-guessing whether a file was actually print-ready. The sellers who win just publish more designs, more often, and that grind is what stops most people from keeping up.

AI image tools looked like the fix, but they left me with the annoying half of the job: images with backgrounds I still had to remove, text that came out misspelled, and no mockups for my listings. Close, but not something I could upload and sell.

So I built LzyPOD. You type an idea and get a print-ready, transparent PNG plus a lifestyle product mockup in under a minute. No Photoshop, no designers, no background cleanup. It's the lazy way to design products that sell, which is exactly what I wanted for my own shops.

I'm a solo founder and built the whole thing with Claude Code: a FastAPI backend with a few AI models (Ideogram, FLUX, Nano Banana) running through Replicate, and Stripe for billing. Shipping this fast on my own would not have been possible a year ago.
