Magic Author

I'm happy to announce that we crossed 300 signups at MagicAuthor - a platform to create and sell eBooks in many formats. I thought I'll focus only on making the product so good that it simply reaches the users by word of mouth and organic reach. Later I realised the need for marketing. I tried things like organising writing workshops, offline marketing like distributing flyers at literature conferences. And I went for paid advertisements in Facebook and Quora. While Quora helped me get genuine users, I got better results by running viral giveaways. Planning to do more of the same in future to attract more users.
