MailMarkable
Send newsletters to your reMarkable tablet.
Some subtle growth marketing techniques pushed me to the top of the reMarkable Reddit today and allowed me to capture 40+ signups in one day!
The next steps are to stabilize the MVP and invite more people to use the product.
And pricing 🤔

In just a few weeks, I was able to complete a working MVP and launch it in alpha with a few early users. The MVP doesn't have a front-end yet but was able to create a functional user dashboard using Directus, which is leveraged for the backend.
The service generates a unique email address which customers will use to signup to newsletters. MailMarkable captures those emails, transforms them to PDF and sends them to the user's device via the reMarkable API.

The initial Reddit post was hugely inspiring and lead me to want to build this product. I setup a simple landing page using Carrd and began capturing emails.
I'm leveraging this opportunity to ask subscribers how they consumer newsletter, to how many they subscribe, and if they use other services like Instapaper to bookmark content. This user feedback is golden and will inform pricing and upcoming features.
I used a MailerLite automation to send subscribers a short survey after they signup.

I bought a reMarkable tablet and thought it would be cool to get newsletter on the device. Reading newsletters in the inbox just isn't a pleasant experience. It would be great to read my favorite newsletters distraction-free.
I asked the Reddit reMarkable community what they thought and discovered lots of other people want this too!
