April 10, 2020 Introducing Dark Mode

Dark Mode is a mandatory feature in 2020, our early users asked for that feature since day 0.

Some advantages of the Dart Mode are:

  • It saves energy, mainly if the device uses an OLED or AMOLED screen.
  • While the dark text on a white background is the best in terms of readability, Dark Mode (which has light text on a dark background) is better for reducing eye strain in low light conditions.
  • With the majority of the screen dark, the screen glare is reduced, thereby minimizing flickering and blue light.

April 7, 2020 Product Hunt

Our launch on Product Hunt was great; we got 320 upvotes, 180 reviews, and around 20 comments.

The product was listed #12 on the home page; thanks to this launch, we got an insane amount of traffic.

By the end of that day, we had some technical issues due the traffic, but we were able to fix the situation and continue getting new users.

April 3, 2020 Hola world

The first task on the roadmap of Mailper was to add multiple languages to be able to access to a bigger audience.

Since the founder is a Spanish speaker, we started with that language, so far the 30 percent of the traffic is coming from countries where Spanish is the primary language.
