July 31, 2019 Added Stripe payments!

I am running all my side projects on the Estonian E-residency program. However, it was only now got approved to use Stripe with my bank Estonian bank. So this month I had to redo the accounting and replace BTC payments with Stripe. It was not too much of a hassle as Stripe does all the heavy lifting and the documentation is wonderful.

Now I connected Mailpipe's Revenue reporting to Indie Hackers so everyone can see Mailpipe progress! Who wants to be the first credit card customer?

July 5, 2019 Overhauled the API

The initial MPV was robust enough to get valuable feedback but had enough shortcomings to justify a partial rewrite.

Some new features include:

  • Built-in documentation
  • Full demo account without signing in
  • Better HTTP responses for the API
  • Better account and invoice handling
  • Pay with Bitcoin

You can now change plans at any moment and any remaining credit from your current plan will be applied to your next.

I would like to use this for zohunt.com. Why are you charging in BTC?

Yeah @emekaonu, I think Mailpipe could help you with Zohunt, maybe with tracking sources of applicants or a shared inbox for a recruiting team. Can I email you about this?

BTC is just easier for me to set up at the beginning, if someone needs to pay with credit card or bank transfer I can send an official invoice.

May 19, 2019 Currently working on new features

Next it will allow users to submit a callback URL that will get notified when that Inbox receives a message. I've gotten some feedback from old colleagues and there was some interest in custom domains to forward mail to.

I wanted an easier way to create an inbox. This was a side project that I had never shipped until now.
