    Hi,

I checked the landing page and I have some questions:

    • How is it different from having public github repos + a slack group dedicated to people who work on those repos?
    • Is the competition the main feature you offer? How would you organize the prizes and the challenge? You wrote prices on the page, but I guess you meant prizes..

      Hello Andras,

thanks that you already checked our landing page.

Github + Slack are not competitors to our platform. Our users use Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket etc. for their projects and could use Slack for communication. We want to create a platform where users can experience the way of working remotely in a team. Our platform is a learning platform where users can learn from each other.

      • We create real-life projects that users can do in a team
      • We allow users to join project-specific teams
      • We host all projects so users have a portfolio with just projects they did together within a team
      • We offer a ranking system (gamification) where users can earn experience points and achievements
      • Users can rate other projects and give feedback, so they learn from each other

Thanks for checking our page for mistakes, we already updated it.

Challenges are within a specific time range which are created by us. Project-specific teams will then do the challenge. After the challenge has ended the teams can share their outcome, so other users can rate their project. The rating is just available for a short amount of time after the challenge has ended.

The prizes are ingame gamification points/achievements. Furthermore, we want to offer material and cash prizes, which could come from sponsors.

      Regards,
      Jan
