October 22, 2020 Randomize profiles to give equal visibility

Huge thanks to @andyngo for helping with this!

Purpose of doing this is to give equal visibility to all profiles, so everyone gets a chance to be on the front page of Malaysians Who Make. https://malaysianswhomake.com - Working on a newsletter and creator stories (interviews) next :)

      Thank you @Garri!

October 17, 2020 Reached 100 members on the Telegram community! πŸŽ‰

It's mostly by word-of-mouth via our very own members, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook.

Reaching this milestone without a lot of marketing effort really made me realise there's a demand for a local community like this. Once again, thank you to those who stuck around. ❀️

September 30, 2020 /profile page is LIVE πŸ₯

πŸ”₯ Creators featured on https://malaysianswhomake.com have a profile page now. If your profile is live, you can try clicking on your own profile, it will lead you to your very own profile page.

Not a mindblowing feature but this is something that I, as a code newbie, want to achieve a long time ago. Glad I figured it out.

September 28, 2020 Started a Telegram community πŸ’¬

Malaysians Who Make has a Telegram community now at https://t.me/malaysianswhomake.

Initially, I wanted to kill this project because 1. Impostor Syndrome and 2. I did not know what to do with it. Thanks to the push from Ee Von (Sondr Malaysia), I felt less alone and went with the decision to do so. I did not regret this after.

May 13, 2020 Launched the Site

Launched an MVP to get user's feedback. I want to focus on what value this product brings, and figure out the technical bits later.

Tech stack: React, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Google Sheets as live database.

Bought the domain malaysianswhomake.com. Excited!
