MapleStack
Canadian jobs, straight from company career pages
Hey Indie Hackers π
Iβve been working solo on a project called MapleStack.ca, a job board focused entirely on jobs available in Canada, sourced directly from company career pages (no recruiter spam, no outdated listings).
Motivation
I started building MapleStack in late 2023, shortly after a few of my colleagues were laid off. At the time, it was just a simple project to help people find tech jobs faster, especially the ones hiding behind outdated job boards or buried under spammy listings.
But as more people began using it, I kept getting one request:
"Can you include non-tech jobs too?"
Between the 2024 holidays and early 2025, I expanded the focus. I also made a key shift; instead of pulling jobs from the same aggregators everyone already uses (like LinkedIn or Indeed), I decided to go straight to the source: company career pages.
This way, MapleStack could highlight roles that often get missed, real jobs from real companies, updated daily.
β Key features:
π Jobs updated daily, pulled directly from Canadian employer websites
π Saved searches & job alerts
π Match scoring based on resume & job description
βοΈ Tailored cover letters using your actual resume content
π΅ One-time access pass for 30 days β $15, no auto-renewals
π§° Built with Nuxt 3, NestJS, PostgreSQL
Iβm just getting started with promotion, so feedback from this community would be gold.
Would love to hear what you think , whether itβs product, monetization, or growth-related.
About
I started MapleStack after layoffs hit close to home. It began with tech jobs, then expanded to all roles, pulling listings straight from Canadian company websites.
