MAPMERCE has been live for 12 days, and I’ve spent this time improving the platform, fixing issues, and learning what it takes to turn an idea into a real product.
Since my first post, I’ve continued improving the experience for both shoppers and store owners.

One thing I’m learning is that building the product is only part of the challenge. The next challenge is getting the first real users and store owners to discover it and keep coming back.
I’m currently experimenting with sharing MAPMERCE through Product Hunt, social media and direct outreach to store owners.

I’ve always found it surprisingly difficult to discover interesting online stores outside the ones I already know.
Search engines are great when you already know what you’re looking for, but discovering stores by country, category, and location is a different experience.
So I started building MAPMERCE — a global discovery map for online stores.
The idea is simple:
🌍 Discover online stores around the world
🗺️ Explore stores by country and location
🏷️ Browse stores by category
🔎 Discover stores you may not have found otherwise
🏪 Give store owners a place to showcase and manage their presence
MAPMERCE is now live, and I’m starting the journey of putting it in front of real users and store owners.
