Mapzy
Simple store finder
We now have 40 stargazers on our GitHub repo. We definitely need to work on getting more customers, but this is still a good indication of interest. Especially, because Mapzy can be self-hosted for free and the number of self-hosters is important to us.
One activity that recently increased the traffic to our GitHub is participating in the Hacktoberfest, which is very fun as you get new folks contributing to your code. I can recommend it to all open-source projects.
About one year after our first line of code, we're proud to anounce that we have our first paying customer. Not sure how they heard about us, but probably Google search.
They also asked if there's a possibility of bulk importing locations. We didn't have that feature yet, but it was on our roadmap. So we prioritized and shipped it today.

After working on Mapzy since April 2021 on the side, we finally got it to a state where it's ready to launch publicly.
The features are still pretty basic, but we plan to add more in the coming months. There are also a few small bugs that we are aware of and will fix.
Our current roadmap includes adding a Google Sheets sync, custom map pins and colors, and the ability to organize and filter your locations by tags.
