Our payment processor mistakenly thought that we were selling investment assets - as opposed to just establishing the plan / investment vehicle - and said they would turn us off in 14 days. This was a big deal as we had integrated their product into ours and rewriting would take weeks. After cold emailing everyone I could find on LinkedIn, the misunderstanding was corrected and we didn't have to rewrite. Phew.

After fulfilling sales manually for months, we launched our fully automated software platform. So this was my independence from repetitive tasks day.

Despite being a programmer, I started the company by creating an Unbounce page to measure demand. I.e. the old "sell it before you build it" approach. This meant doing lots of tedious paperwork for each new customer but it was worth it because it essentially wrote the product requirements.
