Today I deployed a landing page for chefs. I used conversations with meal prep chefs to write the landing page copy and features. The page has an email input so I can collect emails for follow up. I'm running a couple Google search ads to continue validating the idea. I'm excited to see if there is more interest.
I recently deployed a landing page for the customer facing marketplace and I'm moving on to one for chefs so that I can start collecting emails for early adopters. I have a good foundation and looking forward to feedback on what I have so far. I'm excited to help these businesses out.
Over the years I have seen more meal prep companies pop up around the country. I've been reaching out to the local companies to learn more about their operations and the problems they're facing. By using a personalized nutrition app I built, I was able to calculate the calories and macros for a local company's menu.
I had a part time job as meal prep delivery driver while living in Hollywood. I was paid by the hour so I kept a detailed spreadsheet of my delivery route and expenses. During this time I was also getting more interested in fitness and nutrition. It was clear that there were problems running this type of business. The owner was able to cobble together a solution to take orders, mainly using Google forms and a cloud based invoicing service for payments. I started researching no code solutions, but stopped pursuing when I left LA.
