Why my app MediConsent (1.0) failed?
by ManishA few reasons why I had to give up on this app -
- Could not reach beyond a small circle of doctor friends
- Regulatory changes - a court order specified that pre-printed consent forms would be considered invalid. Though my app customized the consent for each patient, a few large clinics/hospitals that I was talking with decided not to go ahead with the app.
- Clinics were no longer required to collect such consents from patients after later.
The app is inactive/closed for now. Maybe MediConsent (2.0) could come up if there is enough interest and buyers for this.
