/meet for Slack
Generate Google Meet links from Slack, easily and free
My first ever launch on Product Hunt.
Generated a number of installs and got a fair number of upvotes and comments.
Received positive feedback from first users and some suggested new features. Very insightful.
I requested an approval from the Slack team. After they tried out and tested /meet for Slack, they published it in the Slack App Directory.
Minutes after publishing, I saw first users installing the app to their Slack workspaces.
Started working on the side project over summer 2021. Developed first prototypes, outlined desired features and functions, set up the deployment and database.
Once finished, I submitted the OAuth app to Google for approval. Weeks after, Google approved the app which means it shows no security warning for the end-user when installing it.
