it's a slow process at first in order to grow organically on Instagram. you'll think about quitting most often but once you reach 5-6k it'll start getting easier.

regarding methods, I used to do many experiments, research, competition research, study, etc.

the simple practice which I did to reach 10k is,

• post twice a day with 12 hrs of gap
• leave genuine comments on other's posts. daily 10 comments
• post contents that can be saved by others
• post engaging stories like questions, polls, etc.
• most important : post high quality valuable content. never underestimate this. if you keep posting valuable content then your growth efforts will be reduced to 50%. then your content will do most of the things
• respect everyone. if you like someone's content then write them genuine comment or using DM
• always use related hashtags ranging from 20-500k posts
• nowadays Instagram's so called new feature reels, they're giving much focus on it and you'll get lot more exposure than a post
• try to do carousal posts than single photo. the more you keep your audience engaged with your content the more exposure you get
