12 teams & 50 users

It's been 7 days since I launched Sidebar by posting in 1 Slack channel in the DCTech Slack workspace. I got a lot of positive feedback and within hours of posting I had 3 teams sign up, including one hosting company that you've heard of!

Since then it's been a mad rush of fixing bugs, reaching out to early users, and implementing new features.

Today the 11th and 12th team signed up out of nowhere bringing the total user count to 50! I'm also happy to say that usage looks good so far. I'm using channel creation and archives as my usage metrics. Here's the breakdown:

  • 12 Teams
  • 50 Users
  • 23 Sidebar channels created and archived

I'll spend a few more days fixing bugs and then I'll officially launch on the Slack marketplace.

Still need to figure out monetization, though...
