Meetly for Google Calendar & Meet

Yay! I've broken through the pattern of letting ideas die in my head.

Meetly is finally open for early beta and I am stoked. Early users have great thing to say about Meetly. Some strong early feedbacks coming our way too. Working closely with these users to reach PMF. 🤞

I am convinced the solution was not to build another app. The context and accountability need to be fostered right where your meeting events live.

Meetly is designed as a chrome extension that opens up on google meet and calendar page to extends the capabilities.

I spoke to roughly 20 people to understand if they hate meetings too. To my surprise not a single one said Yay, another meeting.

The problem has been around for a very long time. To scratch my own itch, I pulled up a Figma file to sketch possible solutions.

Started tinkering with the idea of how can I run my meetings more effectively?

I found taking notes for self and a version to send everyone to build context and accountability were key. I hated having to switch between multiple tabs and apps to do such a simple task.

That day, the idea for Meetly came to fruition.
