I took a Udemy course for REACT.js before starting on my Single page app. The course proved very useful and I employed almost all the learnings to my application except for REDUX. I found REDUX very intimidating with too much boilerplate. Instead I used REACT Context API in various modules of my code. So my learning is that it is possible to create an SPA without redux.
My application stack is REACT.js with firebase as the backend. I made sure that the application passes the Lighthouse audit for PWA on Chrome developer tools. I was happy that it passed 100% including the 'Add to HomeScreen' option. It worked flawless on Android. The issue is with iOS add to HomeScreen. The application is indeed added to iOS HomeScreen but for authentication it opens up a Safari window and once authenticated does not go back to the application :( . Deal breaker. There are hacks posted but I believe it should be fixed by Apple.
