Solo developer looking for honest feedback on the Android messenger I've been building

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo developer, and for the past few years I've been building my own messaging platform called MeetVap. It recently launched on Google Play, and I'm now looking for honest feedback from Android users.

The entire project—from the Android app and backend to the web version—was built by one person, with AI helping me speed up development and solve technical challenges.

Some of the features include:

  • Username-based accounts (no phone number or email required)

  • Private messaging

  • Voice and video calls

  • Groups

  • Cross-platform support (Android, iOS, and Web)

  • Built-in mini apps

I know there are already many messaging apps, so I'm not claiming to replace WhatsApp or Telegram overnight. My goal was simply to build a modern communication platform with a different approach to identity and privacy.

If anyone is willing to try it for a few days, I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback—both the good and the bad. Bug reports, feature suggestions, UI criticism, or anything else is welcome. That's exactly what I'm looking for at this stage.
