Why I decided to build MentionBot.io
Problem: I suck at digital marketing! Maybe, I don't have patients or not creative enough to write blogs, work on SEO, send out cold (spam) emails, etc.
Solution: MentionBot.io
I came up with an idea to get near real-time notification when someone mention specific keywords service relevant to my business, competitors, brands, etc. on social media platform like Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, HackerNews, etc.

looks like a very nice tool.
Cool tool. How do you handle Twitter if not using its $42k/mo API?
There are couple of free options we are exploring. I don't think, it will be an issue.
Does it work with close facebook groups?
It's a work in progress. It will require group admin to approve the app.
