Metaphor Map
Newsletter that helps writers explain their ideas better
Very surprised to have reached this already. I haven’t even sent out the next issue! Hoping this means there’s market desire. I’m finding a lot of value in just interacting on Twitter, sharing valuable content, and being open. The more visible I am, the more people see my work and the more subscribe.
I reached my first 50 readers today a day after launching. I promoted my newsletter on a couple of slack groups and on Twitter. Twitter was my biggest draw because I tagged people I referenced in the newsletter and people who influenced the project. My support network of friends and colleagues also gave it a good boost.

Today, I launched Metaphor Map on Substack. I released an MVP a couple of months earlier that people were very interested in but didn't use. This is a minimum experimental product that I hope to learn a lot from. It's free for now to give me the widest marketing funnel possible, but I'll narrow down and eventually pivot to paid as I learn who my ideal, most motivated users are.
