Metric Soup

Today I finally bought the domain and took the site live. Now, theoretically anyone could find it, create an account and start using it. A lot more work is needed, especially on the marketing side, but I am hopeful that allowing users to embed the various charts on their personal sites will create a bit of free marketing in that sense. Which reminds me that I should add it to my personal blog as well.

A friend asks me whether he can also start using the platform so the platform gets it's second active user and the first one that isn't me. A big clean up as well as some polishing is needed since the only intended user up until this point magically knew where to click and how to find everything. So the big clean up starts.

After searching for a simple tool that allowed me to track my time, income and expenses for my various little projects I finally gave up and started developing my own. Originally it was just meant to be used by one, me, so development was slow and various "issues" were just left unsolved for quite a while. It was only much later when a friend asked whether he could use it as well that I started cleaning it up and thought that maybe others would want to use it as well.
