Until now, there was a discount of 25% on the current license price for the annual renewal of a theme license.
This discount has been dropped with immediate effect.
Why? The license price reflects the actual value of the software. Since we regularly update our themes, optimize them for the latest WordPress releases and implement new functionality, this decision was necessary and from a developer's point of view absolutely justified.
This change will ensure the long-term profitability of the project as well as the continuous development and customer support for our themes.
Old licenses of existing customers are not affected by this change.
Today we officially introduced the subscription business model.
Customers who purchase our themes will now be charged yearly for receiving updates and support.
We have finally decided to do this so that we can work profitably in the long term and guarantee our customers the best possible support.
After our website & shop relaunch earlier this year, we were finally at that point where we can start the migration of existing customers to our new eCommerce system.
About 21k customer payments had to be analyzed and prepared for the new payment and license system.
